The Union at TCP a success!

Union Day at TCPThe Union Day, held on January 23, 2011 at Total Combat Paintball in Chula Vista, CA was a success, mixing all levels of players for the sake of building a stronger paintball community.

We didn’t expect the turn out that we got so, first and foremost, we’d like to apologize to anyone who had to be turned away. Now you know. When we say get there early, we MEAN get there early.

Due to the success of this event, we’re preparing for another Union Day next month. So for those of you who are new or didn’t get the memo last time, here are the basic rules for Union Day:

  1. You don’t have a say about which team you play on. The Union Day is about mixing it up, so everyone can learn from one another. If you’re looking to practice with your team, this event isn’t for you (which is not to say you’re not welcome. It just means you don’t get to play with your team.)
  2. Have fun and be respectful. The paintball world, and the world at large, is full of buttholes. Don’t be one of those guys. Respect all skill levels and be helpful to the newbies.
  3. Get there early or risk becoming a walk-on. Who knew there were so many joiners?!?!

Hope to see you out there!
